Vans Collaboration

I had the opportunity to create two shoe lines and subsequent merchandise for Vans. I took these lines from ideation through to a final mockup presentation while working along side the creative team.

SLICKS

is a men’s footwear line in collaboration with Vans creative team. This line is inspired by the dissonance of oil spills. They are both harmful and beautiful and the marriage between the two resulted in a high fashion men’s ine. Each shoe is dipped in black to produce the effect of each shoe having walked through an oil spill.

Final Designs

The final designs of the three shoe styles in the line. This includes a Classic, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi option. The Slicks line also includes some apparel options.

DO NOT BE JEALOUS OF YOUR SISTER

is a women’s line celebrating women supporting women and their diversity and backgrounds. As women, we can easily fall into a place of feeling jealous of another women’s situation or success; but, we never know from the outside what another woman is struggling through. This line is promoting a shift of consciousness from jealousy to support.

Final Design

for DO NOT BE JEALOUS OF YOUR SISTER consists of three shoe options including the Old Skool, Sk8-Hi and Slip On with the addition of the line extending with apparel pieces.
